I've been using powershell as my default Windows shell for a few months now, using Console. It blows "cmd" out of the water. I just want to start getting more out of it programatically. This looks like a good start.

The Office 2007 file format looks great: XML in a ZIP file. However, I've tried just unzipping and re-zipping one and Office won't open it. This might help sort it out.

$80 NAS server. Just add hard drives and you've got NAS with RAID. Only handles 2 hard drives, but it's only $80.

Nice collection of Scite scripts for text manipulation. I'm already using some of my customizations pretty heavily and think I may need to do some reading on Lua as well as digging through the Scite mailing list archives to bone up.

Alternative to the scite snippets. These are single pass, but still multi-variable abbreviations. If bound to a different key, they might prove useful.

I'd really like to pull more retro influences into one of the next redesign of my site. Given the domination of text on the site, fonts are a likely starting point.
