Looney Tunes - Golden Collection, Volume One

I'm of the last generation before ubiquitous cable and satellite TV and grew up in the relatively short period where Saturday morning cartoons were a staple. And, the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes were an integral part of that.

This morning, I feel like I'm thrown back 25 years. I picked up a copy of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection (Volume 1) a couple of weeks ago. It's been sitting here unopened ever since.

This morning, Shelly needed to go into work, so I thought it was a good opportunity to open it. So, here I am, in my bathrobe, with a bowl of Golden Grahams, watching Wil E. Coyote and the Road Runner, awash in nostalgia.

Of course, to make the memory complete, I'm actually doing laundry and cleaning the house in between the cartoons. I'm having to pause instead of wait for commercials, but the screen is much bigger than when I was 6, so I think I can adjust.

This collection has all of the stuff you've undoubtedly seen a hundred times, but it all holds up. And, there's some of the older stuff you may not have seen at all or very often.
