PodcastScribe: Podcast Transcription Service

I had been thinking about launching a Podcast transcription service for a few weeks. Then I noticed that not only is there a demand out there, some think the demand is quite high:

Doc Searls
and
Deeje.com

So, I'm launching PodcastScribe this morning at http://www.podcastscribe.com. $3.50/minute is the intro price, though I'm looking to see if that can be pushed downward soon.

    I currently do transcriptions for amazon.com,(castingwords.com) so I don't mind working for peanuts. Sometimes there are not enough podcasts to be done there so I am looking for more work. I am physically disabled but love working on the computer. What we really need is a salesman that can get plenty of work for us. There are so many podcasts that it is unbelievable and I would say that almost all of them want transcriptions and are probably paying out the nose for them. I mean, how much money does a regular court reporter make? This is definately a skill that is valued and I'm getting a lot of practice and improving. Currently I am learning to use my "Dragon Naturally Speaking" voice to text software so that I can just do it that way. That's no silver bullet BTW, just interesting to do.

    I also work for CastingWords and love transcribing, which I've been doing for several years now. I'm a stay-at-home mom and can work anytime.

    this site you can leavI really aggree with you Barry. I m working for a similar kind of company called WiseTypist http://www.wisetypist.com. We also offer the similar service but at 30% less than their price. You may go with their service really for smaller works but coming to volume you houls really check once with our company
