HTML Behaviors

HTML Behaviors and the HTC files that go along with them haven't been part of my web development arsenal in the past because they were IE only. Being IE only usually kicks something out of my toolbox pretty quickly. Then, as I was looking through the rest of the site of the guy who made the "IE7" hack to make IE more standards compliant, I noticed that he has a wrapper to enable behaviors in Mozilla. It looks pretty cool and opens that particular area of development up again. Given some of the stuff I'm trying to do with PHUI (to make it more "Windows-like"), the ability to redefine HTML elements in very specific ways is exciting. The fact that that work doesn't need to go to waste (as it can be used on regular sites with Mozilla/IE compatibility) makes it a winner in my book. We'll see once I start working with them. Who knows, I may be here tomorrow proclaiming behaviors as the work of the devil.
